The 2012-2013 Tanzanian Vodacom Premier League comes to a thrilling
climax on Saturday 18 May as champions elect Yanga face-off with arch
nemesis Simba live on your World of Champions.
With Yanga having already won the league title, Saturday will be all about settling a score and bragging rights as the country’s two most successful clubs come head-to-head at the National Stadium in Dar es Salaam.

For
Yanga, the derby will be all about revenge. Simba thrashed them 5-0 last
season to confirm their championship win and Yanga will hope to get
their own back with a similarly huge win to crown off a fantastic season
in which they dominated local proceedings.
For Simba, it has been a
poor season by their high standards, they’ve placed second fiddle to
their age-old foes and the weekend they’ll just be showing up to honour
the fixture list and the not so small matters of pride and bragging
rights. Earlier in the season they played out a 1-all stalemate.
With so much pressure on the game, both teams have camped away from the capital with Yanga camping in Pemba while Simba are in Zanzibar.

SuperSport’s
Ugandan presenter Andrew Kabuura will be on duty while renowned
commentator Bernard Otieno and former Harambee Stars coach Jacob ‘Ghost’
Mulee will do commentary in English. Tanzania is the home of Swahili
and the local duo of Clifford Ndimbo and Florian Kaijage will provide
Swahili commentary for the big clash.
